04.19.08 Important Stuff I Just Can’t Get Over

1. Kristi Mullinex threw away and/or shared all the chocolates I gave her for Valentine’s Day in 1979.

2. The second Darrin sucked.

3. Mom and Dad sent Corky the eskimo spitz away to live on a farm when I was ten and said he ran away.

4. No flying car...yet.

5. Hugh Grant cheated on Elizabeth Hurley.

But to be fair, to share all sides, I must also say that other guys - like her husband, for instance - have had very positive gift-giving experiences with Kristi Mullinex.  And my sister didn’t seem to mind the second Darrin.  I’m not even sure she noticed the switch.  Corky peed when you looked at him.  The Weekly Reader is hardly a scientific journal, so it’s my fault entirely for believing their promises regarding new technology.  And Elizabeth Hurley...um,...I got nothin’ on that one.  It’s pretty one-sided.  Some stuff you just can’t ever get over.
