05.28.07 The Truth (Sort of)
A lot of people ask me how they too can get a job in the music business. For all those people I feel I should tell you the truth about my life. It’s not what you think it is, I suspect. This dawned on my somewhere in Iowa. Be careful what work you wish for.

Whew. . . .just when I was about to give in to all the requests for me to make a CD. I had no idea how hard you worked. I think I will stick to dentistry!

Nicely done!
Wait..."soft rock star?” Is that a star who plays soft rock...or a rock star who’s soft?
Please clarify.

WOW!!! Your life is really not that different from being a mom… except there is no poop, puke or screaming kids. You know… IF I could carry a tune in a bucket, I could totally be a soft rock star!!

I’m sure SOME of it is hard. You are away from your family.

I feel your pain, Shaun. You know that guy in the beginning of the video that was beating you up? Mylon would do that to us if we rolled up a guitar cord wrong....

That is too funny. I didn’t laugh, though, when you got to the 7 hours of sleep part. I DREAM of 7 hours of sleep!

Paul J--
It just dawned on me that you’re that Paul J. Good grief, I LOVED ML&BH. Still do. Wore out the records. Replaced them with tapes. Wore out the tapes…

Two grown men playing “Twister”. Honestly, that’s just odd.
How do you survive on a paultry seven hours of sleep a night? Does Brody get the same? If so, what does Kristen (at home with three kids, including a 6-month old whom I am sure does not allow her to sleep that much) think of this?
