10.16.07 The Rabbit Room
"The original Rabbit Room was in the back of an Oxford pub where the Inkling - C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Williams and other friends - met to discuss, among other things, the books they were writing.
Our hope is that this Rabbit Room will likewise be a place for people who get the feeling that there’s more truth and beauty around us than this world can contain. Windows on that truth and beauty are opened, sometimes quite by accident, by tale-spinners, world-makers, and bards.
We invite you to step in and look outside with us.”
I don’t really know what parts of this description mean but it sounds pretty and makes me think. Which basically sums up the new website founded by singer songwriter Andrew Peterson I took it from. The Rabbit Room is a place on-line for creative thinkers thinking creatively, and the parts I understand I like, very much. If you’re interested in books, music and art and like to talk with other people who share that interest, check out The Rabbit Room. There’s plenty to see, hear, talk about and ponder. Just like the original - minus the beer and cigars.
