06.15.07 Riding Sammy’s Wave

Sammy Stephens wrote a rap song to promote his Flea Market down in Montgomery, Alabama - you know, the one that’s just like a mini mall.  Then I took those beautiful life-transforming words of his and added a melody.  I posted it to Youtube and soon after Sammy talked with my friend Brant and mentioned wanting to use my version of his little ditty for a compilation CD he’s making.  Now, a newspaper in Alabama wants to interview me for a story they’re doing on Sammy’s newfound celebrity.

Anybody else got something I should make fun of...I mean pay tribute to?  Apparently it’s great publicity.

Oooh, what about doing a ditty to make fun of those “Head-On” commercials?  “Head-On, apply directly to the forehead.” I don’t know if there’s ever been a more annoying commercial.

Shaun, You should start singing the “Smelly Cat” song from Friends.  That would get you some attention.
