01.25.08 No Voice, No E-Mail, No Problem

I was supposed to be on a local radio station to play and talk a little around the lunch hour today.  Then I was planning on finishing up a couple new songs after that.  But I woke up late this morning with very little voice and an incredible irritating healing itch in my throat.  I sound a lot like Harvey Fierstein - without the lisp.

So I’m taking my own advise and saying nothing until show time tonight - staying off the radio and away from people and conversation.

And I’m refilling out my VISA application for the Uganda trip and getting that overnighted to Colorado Springs.  (I’m posting that uninteresting bit of info here because I can’t get an e-mail out to them to let them know I got their message and am working on it.)

After that I’m doing some work on spreading the word about the Uganda trip.  Wanna help?  Post about it, put it on your social networking site pages (facebook, etc), add it to your message board signatures, etc.  Let me know any other creative things you’ve done to get the word out.

Lastly, pray for my voice and this weekend’s shows.  I’d sure appreciate it.

I added you days ago.  My blogroll rotates like a Newsboy’s drumkit though so it won’t always appear.

Feeling better already.  Thanks, Vicky.  Honored to have you stop by.

Hey, fyi, you don’t need a visa application for Uganda… its cheaper to do it at the airport when you arrive. Thats what me and my team did in May - smile
