03.06.08 My Day Off

No wife and daughters.

One sick boy.

Two repairmen.

Five hands of Go Fish.

A dozen hands of Crazy Eights.

Five puzzles.

Lunch.

A little noisy but lots of relaxing—surprising how stress-relieving smack talkin’ a five year-old is.  “You got any Clown Fish?  Booya!! I knew it!”

Do not be smack talkin’ a sick 5 year old.  He’ll breathe on you twice as much and then puke for good measure.

Ahhhh, the pleasure of smack-talkin’ the kiddos. We’ve tasted this delight. Unfortunately, they’re learning quickly. They can now dish it as well as take it.

Go Fish is played WWF-style at our house.

Go Fish merits a lot of smack-talking. It can be a high-stakes game. Have you ever seen the VeggieTales Jonah movie?

Yeah Shaun I know the feeling.  Except try having your five year old daughter tell you, “Don’t bring that to my room.”, after she beats you at bowling on the Nintendo Wii.
