Amy Grant ...zillions...children...Malaysian factory. I’m sorry did you say something about free music? Now, I’m just a simple girl from rural Arkansas, and not a huge Grant fan (I might add), but that statement might be mistaken as a tiny little blow to Mrs. Grant’s character. Just an observation. off the subject, i had a student come up to me not long ago and said “dude i was at your church one time. you know the church where that homeless guy was singing” he was refering to you when you came to our church and did some music. thought it was kinda funny. love you man. keep doing what you do.

Sweet you finally got on Facebook. YEAYYY!  The only thing about Facebook is that you either love it or you hate it. If you never use your profile or update it then it’s never really interesting. So if you need/want help in managing your Facebook page I am so free for the job.

Shaun, “Miss Texas” has made me an even bigger fan.  Every time I listen to it, I am amazed at how well your song expresses my feelings about home (Austin).  It makes me wonder why I am going to school in Oklahoma!

Well, curse, I missed Friday by 49 minutes, only because I didn’t even know your shlog existed until about 5 minutes ago.  I would have appreciated some free music.

Actually you can technically still get the download. Apparently(according to Shaun Groves) they don’t stop the freeness until 6 AM today Central Time.

Quick disclaimer:

I wasn’t meaning to sound judgemental to Amy.  Speaking jest there.  However, having nothing to do with her personal decisions which are HER business entirely, I do dig the early indie-christian sound of age to age and those early Smitty, Mullins, and Card songs.  But that’s probably because I started liking Nirvana when Second that Emotion was going strong in my sister’s earphones.

I think every protestant girl in America still wants to be Amy.

Glad I’m not protestant then! In a word I am an Amy Grant “hater”. Her voice just doesn’t appeal to me nor does her song writing.

The reason she is the most downloaded there is that no one is willing to pay for her music.  Free is the only way they’ll get it.

The site must be on East Coast time.  I went at 9:40pm CA time and I couldn’t get anything.
