09.24.07 Five Years Ago
Five years ago today Gresham was born. And there’s no one like him.
No one else I know would dress up like Santa Clause for Halloween, or climb trees in their sleep, or want to camp out in Brody‘s yard for their birthday party. Gresham does.
His Kawasaki stuff isn’t gone yet. He’s broken out in a massive rash all over his body and he’s still very irritable but the doctors sent us home from the hospital and say he’s not contagious. And Gresham says he still wants to party. So, today, after a special Cracker Barrel breakfast, we’re shopping for a tent so we can camp out beside Brody‘s house tomorrow night with a few of his school friends and the rest of the cult-de-sac.

I’ve been reading yours and Brody’s blogs regularly for about a month now. I don’t have a blog because I’m not that interesting and really busy. But I’ve been praying hard for Gresham and my church prayed for him during their prayer meeting and services yesterday.
I hope Gresham has a super happy birthday!
