UND Show is at 8 PM CST, NOT 7.  Just thought I’d pass this on.

WHAT?  Since you ARE the promoter, and you’ll be in charge of keeping me warm this weekend, I’m not arguing. I’ll take your word for it, Beth.

(Off to change a few websites before my plane departs from Minneapolis. Including this post.)

A couple of things caught my eye when I checked in on this historic Shaun Groves occasion:

1 - is that a disco ball above his head?
2 - when did Shaun buy a sweater?

Sweater?  I heard there was another shirt involved that he refused to wear…

It did kinda look like a disco ball, didn’t it?

That was fiasco!

My power cord for my laptop melted.  Seriously.  It melted.

And, yea, it melted.  So I don’t think we were live for long.

Thanks for tuning in though.  We tried.

I have the power chord rigged up right now (I’m literally holding the two pieces together) to give me just enough juice to post this apology.  Sorry that sucked.

There.  I did it.  I’m going to bed.

Yes, a sweater.

I own a sweater.

It’s North Dakota.  I wore a sweater.

You were live for about 15 minutes or so.  I think you cut out in the middle of the third song.  What are the chances you’ll get a power cord for the live broadcast tomorrow?  Slim to none?  I’ll check in anyway to find out.

When you do the camera setup, don’t forget you have banners going across the bottom...we had more ceiling than anything tonight.

Beth’s husband, Scott, is gonna try to solder the cord back together this afternoon.  If that works we’ll go live.  (Beth is the promoter this weekend, aka “grovesfan” here on Shlog’s comments.)

Well, IF we have internet connection at the church tonight, we’ll go live.

Did you borrow Brody’s old power cord?  He had to replace his after it began to smoke one day.

Shaun Groves LIVE from Grand Forks, ND!

Thanks for launching this Mogulus Channel - it’s amazing to be able to praise and worship Jesus Christ with other believers via this technology.

BAH!  I missed the whole thing because I had to pick up my kids at lifegroup and by the time I got back, it was over.  Hopefully you’ll do this again soon Shaun!

The show tonight was awesome in spite of Shaun’s cold worsening and possibly turning into the flu.  The audience loved him (except for the one lady he got onto for using a cell phone during the show!) and his “Smitty Tribute”, but they loved even more the passion Shaun shares for the poor.  The pastor of this church was in Ethiopia last week on a trip with Compassion so he and Shaun connected right away.

The live feed went well (thank you honey, (Scott, to the rest of you)) and best of all 72 children were sponsored tonight!

72 children?!  WOW!  That’s wonderful!!

I got to see two songs, then had to leave when Shaun’s guitar was in need of a new string.

And thank you to Scott for soldering the cord back together!

I’m looking forward to more of these live broadcasts.
