Umm, forgive the ignorant Aussie, but what exactly are cheese curds?

Fried curds aren’t quite as tasty as good old ordinary ones.

And don’t forget, the squeakier they are on your teeth the better!

Now Shaun be nice to Brian he’s doing the best he can. If you fire Brian I’m going on strike!!

My understanding is that cheese curds (fried ones anyway) are the fat that rises during the cheese making process then deep fried in lard.  SO it’s cheese fat fried in fat.  Yes, we’re the most obese nation for a reason.  But we have fun getting that way.

Thanks for that wonderfully descriptive look at cheese curds.  I think I’ll skip dinner now!  Besides, we accidently left the pasta at the church last night so we are all going hungry tonight anyway.  Just wanted to tell you again how great it was to finally meet you and Brian.  It is a privilege to call you friend and brother and I was honored to be able to bring you to Grand Forks.  Thanks again for the great conversation and outstanding music.  I’m thinking outside the box more and more everyday!

Weather’s been great.  Not as cold as expected.  We’re in Grand Forks right now heading out to tonight’s concert.  It’s in the 50’s!!  Whew.

I met you Saturday night at the Cup.  It wasn’t that cold of a night—thank Brian for not scheduling you here in another month or so.  It was above freezing

Never said that.  No, no.  Moving and cold are not even comparable.  Apples to oranges.  Sore legs to sore face.  Hmmm, which do I dislike most?

Well, you can warm up here in sunny FLA when you play @ Coral Springs. Then again, weather is very unpredictable here. Pack a poncho or sweater… looking forward to seeing you play....

Cold is a relative thing.  Right now it’s about 38 degrees outside and raining.  The day you play here in Grand Forks is expected to be about the same, minus the rain.  When it’s 40 below zero in February or March, this will seem like a warm spring day!  I had to take my coat off today ‘cause it was too hot!  See you on Sunday but no cheese curds.

well, if it’s any consolation we’re I’m in Virginia and it’s 19 degrees (it was 75 on Tuesday...) I’m new to your blog, but it’s in my favorites now… thanks for your transparency, it’s been inspiring
