01.30.08 By The Power Of Grayskull I Thank You
I’ve got three photographers to thank. First, thanks to Andrew Bryant for selling me a very life-changing Nikon D-70 for next to nothin’. A real live big boy camera with Spanish only owner’s manual. No sprechen Spanish, Andrew, but thanks nonetheless. I’ll be taking it to Uganda with me and having a little show and tell back here on Shlog daily.
Next up is Bush - the blogger/musician/photographer/adopting father, not the leader of the free world. He’s agreed to teach me a little bit about how to use said camera as soon as we’re both in town at the same time. “We met on-line” is becoming a commonly uttered phrase for me. How ‘bout you?
Lastly, Joe Koszuta, a very giving guy who works for MTV up in Chicago and (for some reason) drove for hours to come to a concert of mine last year in Indiana with a huge camera. And he took some great pics. He brought them to me this past weekend in Elgin, Illinois and said I can use them free of charge for anything I want, like newsletters, the Vault, publicity...anything.
