02.28.07 Save Money. Save Lives. Again.
There’s no fancy lighting rig, no tour bus, no crew, no elaborate catering. Just me and an instrument on a stage for free. And children who need our help.
Since the beginning of 2007 I’ve been playing concerts at no cost to promoters in exchange for them letting me speak about Compassion International for seven to ten minutes during my full-length concert. This uniquely cheap tour is just past it’s halfway point now and if things continue to go as they have so far the people attending my shows will have saved over 600 children from poverty in Jesus’ name when all is said and sung. 600 children in just over three months!
I’ve never been more motivated to get out of bed than I am these days - knowing that I’m not just making music but giving my audience the opportunity to save the lives of children at the same time. And they’re taking it!
Because of the enormous success of this touring approach, and because Compassion International has asked me to, we’re doing it again...and taking bookings starting today. I’m waving my fee so that exposing people in your community to the child-saving work of Compassion International will cost you nothing but time and effort. So, contact my friend Brian Seay today to bring me to your city in MAY, JUNE, JULY or AUGUST of 2007.
And hurry.
The last time we did this we booked the entire tour - three months of shows! - in just two weeks.
If you are interested in saving money and saving lives but wondering what on earth you’d have to do to promote a concert of mine, here’s what we expect from promoters:
THAT’S ALL. It’s that simple. Let Brian know you’re interested and he’ll walk you through everything one step at a time.
Please, spread the word about this opportunity to save money and save lives. Post it on your blogs. Pass the word to your college chaplain or student activities director. Tell a minister at your church about it. Tell promoters in your city. Help us make this tour as great a success as the last, and save more kids from poverty.
Thank you in advance.
