Aka, global warming.

This is something I have recently become far more interested in.  I think I just didn’t have time to read about it or learn about it before.  It’s interesting, because people try to deny its existence.  I know in the past, Christians have done that as well, which I find really curious.  Why?  I know it’s gotten better, but is it really something we spend much time thinking about?  Or is it because the changes needed will require so much effort?  We spend so much time talking about feeding the hungry, caring for the poor, and evangelizing the lost, but honestly, I think caring about this issue is another huge way for us to show the world that we love them, and that Jesus loves them.

Thoughts from anyone else?  What do you do to care for the earth?

Wow, I guess no one has any thoughts about this issue at all!

The amazing thing about it is, there are a lot of little things you can do to help the environment that won’t cost much, just take a little effort.
Like buying your veggies and fruits homegrown at a local farmers market or stand.

Or walking if you can instead of driving.

Unplugging your electronics when you’re not using them.

Use freecycle.org to pass on things you no longer need instead of throwing them away.

Anyone else?
