Hey I’m a college student and I’m just wondering how many more college students are here. So let me hear from you. What school’s are being represented here and what is it you’re studying?

I represent Toccoa Falls College
and I’m studying…
Youth Ministry.

Hey!  I’m a college student as well!

I go to Butler U (famous now for our basketball team--they’re doing so well this year!) and I’m studying Biology and Psychology (and Chemistry eventually...).

(Great thread idea, Amy! smile)

I’m a senior (ahhh!) at Hollins University, a small all-women’s liberal arts school.

I’m an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Psychology.  I graduate in EXACTLY four months.  Eep.

Wow only 4 of us? That’s sad.

Anyway has the semester already started for everyone? How’s it going? Are you living on or off campus? What do you do in your free time?

To answer my own questions:
Yes the semester has already started and it’s going to be really challenging this Spring.
I live on campus.
In my free time I watch Gilmore Whores (Gilmore Girls) and I hang out with my girls and if I get the chance come on here. I also try and get in as much reading and stuff as I know I can handle.

I’m a student at Southeastern College at Wake Forest.  I’m getting a BA in Biblical Studies (finishing in May).  Then I will be enrolling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue an MA in Ethics.

Hollins has a January Term, AKA Short Term or J-term, where students either stay on campus and take a seminar class (stuff like Stage Makeup, Bookbinding, British Gothic Cinema… I took Contract Bridge - yes, the card game - my first year), do an independent study, an internship, go on a trip (NYC for the theater or Munich or Greece), or work on thesis.

Currently, I’m on campus doing my thesis (that screenplay).  It’s been going ok, although yesterday I only turned in six pages (thanks to writer’s block and being tired of it).  But I’m a third of the way there, and I have the spring to work on it as well.  But only having the thesis and work M-Th afternoons… I’ve watched a LOT of TV and goofed off.  TV during the day… as well as my shows at night (24, Prison Break, American Idol).

J-term ends next Tuesday, and the spring semester starts the Tuesday after that… so we get a week off in between.  I don’t remember it being that long before… but hey, I’m not complaining!  smile
