From Shlog.

“I am having major bad headaches and they are causing my vision to get blurry. Anywho, I am having a spinal tap done and am a little nervous about it all. So I am doing what I know will make it better. Asking for prayer.” -Steven

I am praying for Steven.

Thanks for posting this here Brody. I saw it on Shlog and almost referred him here, but I figured most of us on the board read shlog anyway.

Thanks for posting this Brody.  I will be praying Steven.  God is our great physician and He knows the plans He has for you.

On another note, one of my receptionists’ 19 year old nephew died yesterday after a long battle with cancer.  His name is Jason.  Her name is Jean.  Please keep this family in your prayers.

Hey guys. I just wanted to say thanks for the prayer. The spinal tap is done and I am back at home on my back for the rest of the day. Apparently, the only side effect is a bad headache if you get up too soon. And seeing how I don’t want a headache for Christmas I am planning on obeying the doctors orders today and lay in my back all day.

The spinal fluid was clear, which is a good thing. They are sending it off to check for infection and took some blood to test that as well.

Those should be back within the next 2-3 days.

I appreciate you guys more than you will ever know. I closed my eyes as it was being done and remembered those of you lifting me up. It was a pretty awesome feeling.

Thanks for the update Steven.  I’ve had one of those headaches and trust me, you DON’T want to get one.  Stay flat and drink lots of water.

Hey guys. Sorry I have been bad about updating. I was laid up in the bed for the past few days with those headaches. I wish that pain on no one!

Anywho, had the blood patch and actually worked a light day at work today. Now I am off until the day after Christmas and plan on a nice relaxing extended weekend at home.

Merry Christmas to you all. And thanks so much for your prayers. They meant a lot.
