I’m hoping he saves the postage and just delivers it in person when he’s here at the end of the month.  That way, I can make sure he spells my name right (see the “Sara Groves Trivia” shlog)!

Good News: It’s True Story day!
Bad News: Cristy is going to miss it due to Justin’s dental appt.

***Didn’t I recently make a note to myself not to schedule things like this on Thursdays?  mad

I haven’t been able to hear True Story because I worked on Thursday afternoons… but now I’m only working 3 days instead of 4 and I asked Thursdays off (mainly so my weekend can start 2:30 on Thursdays, lol).  But now I can listen to True Story as well!  Yay!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to drop a line to let you all know that next week is going to be my last “live on tape” show for a while.  I am having throat surgery and don’t know what the recovery period is going to look like.  So, I will be replaying classic CDR’s where you can actually hear my original voice, imagine that!  LOL

Anyways, Thanks SO MUCH for all of the prayers and support you all have given me over the last 20 months.  Wow time flies.

Charley, I am praying for you.  You have a great show and I am looking forwards to hearing the new shows after your surgery.

LOOK!!!

It’s my good friend Charley Hays from Cross Driven Radio!  Hey buddy I was hoping you’d post here. You know your team here is praying.

Bro, come on over here every week and let us know what you’re going to be featuring on CDR.  This thread’s plenty big enough for both of WEBR’s right wing musical conspirators.  LOL

As for True Story today, we’re continuing our theme of the elements in music and the Bible.  This time, we’re thinking about the symbolism of the earth. Listen for music from Switchfoot, Shaun, Sixpence, The Turning, Watermark, Rich Mullins, Ginny Owens, Phil Madeira, Caedmon’s Call, George Rowe and more.

Catch Cross Driven Radio today at 2 eastern/1 central, followed by True Story Radio at 3 eastern/2 central.

Charley, even though your throat’s giving you grief, I really like what you’re saying today, and the way you’re saying it.

Hey Nancy,
Thanks so much for your prayers and support.  You’re so awesome!  I’m just in an awesome mood today. I will definetly start posting show notes here.  The highlight of today’s show was The Afters unplugged and a new band called Two Empty Chairs.  I’ve heard some of there new stuff and it flat out rocks.  cool cheese

I love this song.  I just wish that I had managed to catch Shaun’s song.  At least I got to hear Rich and Ginny.

Hey Folks,
I just wanted to let you all know that as much as I wanted to do a new show this week, I have absolutely no voice at all.  It really sounds aweful and I don’t want to subject you to that.  snake  Anyways, surgery is at 8:00 on Saturday.

I went to the Dr. yesterday and signed the pre surgery forms, and one of the potential side effects is that my voice could change pitch.  If it does, I’m hoping that I get that deep voice like the movie guy, you know, the guy on the geico ad… this time its for real… LOL  With my luck, I’ll get a Pauly Shore voice.  gulp

Thanks again for your prayers and support and I’ll post when I get home and let you know how it goes.

Godspeed!

Charley

Don LaFontaine, beware!  Here comes the new voice of Charley Hays.  Hey, I hear people can make a FORTUNE in voiceovers.  wink

Well, there will probably not be a new True Story this week either.  I finished the show last night but the station has been closed because of our bad weather here.  So I haven’t been able to get the show to them and there’s no one there to put it into the system anyway.

So...rebroadcasts from your everloving WEBR radio kids.

Radioman, we’re praying for you.  Don’t come out of surgery sounding like Mickey Mouse or anything, k?

Charley, praying for you man.

Nancy and Charley , every once and a while a rebroadcast is a good thing.  It allows us who have missed the show or part of the show to hear what we have missed.  Also, it allows the message you are trying to convey to get through to this thick head of mine. LOL  More importantly, I rather listen to a rebroadcast then to have either one of you risk injury doing the show or delivering it to the radio station.
