Thanks Thomas.  Voice is back as strong as ever.  I noticed when I was editing Amy’s interview, you can kind of hear my voice going away as the interview progresses.  Kind of funny is a weird sort of way.

By the way, next week is the final installment of 40 day fast interviews.  The guests are Euphrony and Kristin. (aka Brody’s wife)

They end the series on a high note for sure!

I’m still interested in hearing if you all like the interviews on the show or not.  I am encouraged that the poll has not gotten a vote for no more interviews, which is nice.

Nancy, I’m praying for you.  I’m with Charley and Thomas on the rebroadcasts...I love ‘em so keep ‘em coming.  I could listen to the same TSR over three weeks in a row and hear something new each time, especially since I constantly get interrupted from listening since I’m at work.  And sometimes I’m in a different place from one week to the next, and the same episode speaks to me in a different way.  That happened recently, ya know.

Charley, I’m really looking forward to your show today.  I am LOVING these interviews!  Glad your voice is better.

Thomas, can I assume that you’re home safe and sound?

“See” you all in an hour!

That is Natalie Grant’s new song, I Will Not Be Moved.  I think that is an amazing song.  She just posted the video which is cool.  I love it because it shows that you can be thoughtful lyrics wise and still rock!

Can’t wait for the podcast of this show, got a phone call for almost all of Brody’s interview!  Is it wrong that my phone is on DND (Do Not Disturb) right now so I can finish listening to Brody and hear My Friend Amy?  LOL

I don’t think so!  That entire interview is about 50 minutes!  It was very hard to decide what parts to put on the air.  You like the Hawk tie in to Amy’s segment?  Friend Like That - My Friend Amy.  Sometimes I can be clever, but most times I’m goofy…

Very clever tie in.  cool smile  I’m goofy most of the time, too, just ask my teenagers! LOL

I’m lovin’ Amy’s laugh!  This is so much fun to hear everyone’s voice, what a great idea Charley!

Great show Charley!

Know that I’m praying for the family/friends of your friend that passed away earlier this week.

Great show Nancy.

I have been learning how blessed that I am to have family and friends who love me and are willing to shove me in the right direction when I need it.  I have been extremely blessed by having a wonderful child to sponsor through compassion.  He is teaching me how to love someone that I probably will never have the chance to meet.  I really do not need a big house or the newest or biggest gadget.  God has provided me with everything I need at this in my life.

It was also great to hear songs by Ginny, Shaun, and Rich Mullins.

praying for you nancy and charley

Nancy,

Last week I wrote that a encore show of True Story is better than a day without True Story.  I would like to amend that statement.  A day without True Story that insures that Nancy is without or with less stress and worries is better than a day with a new or encore True Story and you end up being stressed out and worried about doing a show.  I know that True Story is part of your ministry, but if means that the other parts of your life and other ministries are being neglected because of the time requirements of True Story I ask as friend to take a break from True Story to take care of yourself and your other miniseries.

I understand that you are a very busy person, but if you get a chance Ginny has a new post on her blog.

Thomas, thank you so much. I am so grateful for everybody’s encouragement and prayers. I need em!

I’d decided last week that it would probably work out best for me to air encore shows through the end of October and take some time to rest and regroup. I’m pretty frayed and I have some directional questions before God that I’m looking for Him to answer before I move ahead with anything else in my life. Then this week, I developed laryngitis so I HAVE to do encore shows until the vox works again. Last time this happened, I was down for a month. How’s that for God re-enforcing a plan of quiet reflection?  LOL

There have been changes at WEBR so I’m hoping the show I dropped off makes it into the system today. You’ll be hearing a True Story from spring of 2006--one of the rare, no topic shows. It introduces the then-new artist Charlie Dodrill with a special reflection after time spent in Nashville, thinking about what the Christian music industry had been, and what it had become.

Hope everybody can listen today, 3pm eastern http://www.fcac.org/webr

Due to being sick for the better part of the week, I am replaying last weeks show with Brody and Amy.  Next week, the 40 day Fast series concludes.  Then, I have a couple of really cool artist interviews then its a trip to the beach to relax from all of that craziness.  I was trying to get a guest host for the week I was off, but no one I asked either replied back or couldn’t do it, so, it will be a special themed show that will rawk!!

See you in 15 minutes!
