Shlog Section-f

Okay, I’m in big time Shlogcast withdrawal.  If Shaun is going for less is more, it’s working.  Since Shlogcast volume 2, Amy Grant has cranked out 3 podcasts (20 minutes each) where she is shamelessly self-promoting her entire music catalog being available in digital format for the first time ever for the low, low price of something like $79.99.  If it includes the autographed Amy Grant “El Shaddai” edition 80 GB video iPod, I’m in, unless Shaun can match Amy’s 3rd podcast which will give me something to do instead of listening to Amy saying (gasp) when she was 15 her first song “Mountain Man” included the line “not having to sleep alone anymore”.  Pretty juicy stuff, I don’t know if Shaun is up to the challenge.

It’s coming. I promise.  Shlogcast 3 is me and Brant chatting.  He recorded us at the WAY-FM studios in Florida and is supposed to be mailing me a disc of it all.

Thanks Shaun.  That’s great news!!  I have to admit that in the 8 weeks I’ve been waiting for volume 3, I’ve been unfaithful and cheated on you with Amy.  She ended her volume 3 on a cliffhanger, she’s still married to Gary Chapman, they just wrote “Tennessee Christmas” together and she released 4 albums in 4 years!  Pretty hard act to follow I must say.

Compelling stuff since in 3 volumes of podcasting I’ve only made it up to her being 20 years old so at this rate I’ll have to listen to about 20 more volumes of Amy Grant podcasts to get caught up to present-day Amy while I’m waiting for Shlogcast #4.  Please forgive me, I promise I won’t change my name to “amyfan”
