Two truths, one lie:

1) I ran into a friend last night I’ve known since I was born, but haven’t talked to in 9 years.
Truth.  Our mom’s have been best friends since 4th grade!  We used to hang out because we were single moms and our kids are the same age, but when we both got remarried, she moved and we just lost touch.  Now she’s back in town and I ran into her...AT THE GYM!  Which makes #2 the lie!

2) I haven’t been to the gym since before Christmas!
Lie.  I’ve been going to the gym several times per week for the last month or so.

3) Our Vice President from Chicago is taking everyone in the office to dinner tonight, except me.
This one is also true, but on a technicality...I was invited but Cameron had a basketball game so I declined.

I especially like how everyone else thought #2 was true!  red face
Nancy, your turn!

.

1. I’m struggling in my job more than I ever have.

2. I’m taking major steps toward new career opportunities.

3. I’m happier in my job than I’ve ever been.

And the lie is....

I hope I’m wrong, but I’ll guess #3 is the lie.
If #1 were the lie, then would #2 be true?  And if #2 were the lie, it’s hard for me to get my brain around #1 & #3 both being true.  So #3 is the lie.

1. LIE......The truth is, I’m content.  After 16 years, things are better than they’ve ever been.  I know, who my age stays in the same job for SIXTEEN years?  Well, the job has changed over the years, the people have changed (some have even become Christians!), and I have changed.

2. Truth....Contentment doesn’t equal complacency though. So I’m doing some exploring and taking some risks to see about new things God might be leading me toward in the next couple years that would not involve living in a gray government cubicle for 9 1/2 hours a day.  LOL

3. Truth.

Lovely Lois, you’re up!  grin

Why do I think that number three is the winner? Since I can not give number three as my number, I will guess number two.

Okay, then I’ll guess #1. (But I think it’s #3, too Thomas.)

I am sorry that I am a little late in posting my responce.

I think it is getting harder and harder for me to come up with lie.  Two truths one lie.

1) I have to work Saturday in Waukesha WI.

2) I am going to attend church Saturday in Waukesha WI .

3) I am going to Shaun’s show Saturday in Green Bay WI.
