As I am sitting here today at work, I am bored out of my mind. It is not there is no work to be done, it is that we are unable to do it.  The way that our computer system is set up that we have to communicates with our server at another location.  The problem is that the Internet is down at the other location.  So here we sit unable to do our job. So, what do you do at work when things come crashing down and you are unable to do your job.

Read, play cards, or catch up on paperwork.  There’s always plenty of that to do in my job!

Thomas, I’m in the same boat!  I have many things due today, however our corporate server is down and I have no way of getting to my files!!!  Thankfully, I save alot of things to my computer, so I’m able to work on a few things, but I don’t think my billing is going out today, and I know my reports aren’t getting done.  Atleast I’ll have alot of the legwork completed since I started saving things to my computer....JUST IN CASE.  Can you guess that this has happened to me before?  LOL

Since you’re able to access the internet, have you tried the game on Brody’s blog?  It’ll drive you crazy, but it’s fun.  grrr

Go to the compassion website and write your little guy a letter.  Did you know you could do that online?

well, “work” for me is practicing and teaching.  i taught at 11 this morning, practiced for a half-hour before my student came, and for an hour and a half after she left, so now that i’m done with “work”, i’m browsing the interweb and wasting time...and really wanting to go get some lunch.

work for me was pretty slow today too!  the phones werent ringing as much and we had maybe 30 customers the entire 8-hr day.  didnt sell too much and ended up cleaning, standing around, or goofing off w/the salespeople!  haha.
