I registered online for free tickets to the concert on July 14 at http://www.god-song.com. I never got an email confirming it, though, and I registered last night. I just want to be sure I can get in!
I did not receive a conformation e-mail after I registered. I ended up e-mail god-song about this. My ticket had been set aside for me. I will pm you the e-mail address so you can check up on your ticket.
I plan on being there for the show. This little road trip is going to allow me that chance to meet up with one of the guys I grew up with. Also, I am trying to figure out how I can get down to Florida to meet my brother before I head back to Wisconsin. I have to be back to work bright and early Wednesday the 18th.
I promised Charley (from Cross Driven Radio--he’s also a promoter!)I’d be there to help so I will see you guys in between doing runner type things: sorting the M&M colors in the green room candy jar, waxing guitars, vacuuming red carpets, setting room temperature bottles of water in key locations...there are many things for a runner to do at a big soft rock show!
You won’t need hair rollers, but bring the “hair deodorant.” Actually, Shaun can provide it as he’s never without it. It’s stashed between the laptop and the underwear in his backpack.
You won’t have to rifle long as neither one of them pack much else! Just don’t get them started on the boxer vs. brief debate. It could delay the show. It’s pretty funny though so if he suddenly runs out of material, just ask him while he’s on stage.
It wasn’t during the concert actually. It was before dinner. When Shaun was last here, I went looking for Brody and him to let them know dinner was ready. I caught them coming out of the bathroom and they’d apparently been having a discussion about boxer underwear. Upon finishing up, Shaun says “now of course Beth knows more about my underwear than I’d like” or something like that. We had a good laugh!
