I do, sometimes. Playing the guitar or the piano would be fun. I never got into learning how to play an instrument, and there are people out there who can play so much better than I, so… :-D

YES!  I never had the focus to stick with it as a kid and I regret it now.  I played drums, trumphet, saxaphone, french horn and guitar at one time and I can barely tune the radio now.  Now I don’t have the time to learn one.

I learned the organ ( YEEHAW… LOL) and guitar as a kid.  We are planning on taking up the guitar and key board as a family and my dh really wants to play the drums.  It’s never too late now, is it???

Nope - the biggest struggle with adults learning I think is just time. I feel we tend to overemphasize the importance of the young student (I’m always asked how young I was when I started taking lessons). If you can make the time, you can learn something.

I’ve been trying to pick up some guitar after years of piano. I bought a couple $20 FirstAct kids guitars from Wal-Mart for Christmas for a couple of my kids—one literally fell apart after coming out of the box - I thought the other wouldn’t last the week.

BUT ... I’ve been very impressed with these little things. I exchanged the broken one, and ever since, they’ve been really good little instruments. I have one at work, since a co-worker is a great guitarist and he’s been impressed as well. I try to get him to show me tidbits in between code compiles and the other is nice to pick at on the couch watching Lost.
