I tend to approach these topics carefully, somewhat skeptical.  My daughter was getting her hair cut this past weekend and I forgot to bring something to read, we were close to a Wal-Mart and I picked this book up. Two of my friends had said they read it.

Has anyone else read it?
What do you think?
True?
Not True?
Not sure?

No, I don’t believe I have read it.  What/who is it about, and does it seem worth reading?

You’re steady in will. You won’t fall apart.
When nothing is pure, there is good in your heart.
Brother, it’s all in knowing that you are a part of the faithful.

It’s Don Piper (Baptist Pastor) story.  He was in a very bad car accident, pronounced dead and then 90 min. later, alive.

One might think the book is mostly about his time in Heaven. I haven’t quite finished it but so far only one brief chapter on this.  Most of the book is about his recovery.  I have really enjoyed how the prayers of many people were used in his recovery.

Did he really go to Heaven? Who knows, I don’t find too much doctrinally wrong with his account.

I must confess that I have been challenged this week about why I can believe in some miracles and not others.
