I’m praying for your family and their heart conditions--physical and spiritual.

Quick prayer request. I am having surgery on my foot Wednesday to remove an accessory bone and fuse two ligaments together.  I’ll be in a non-weight bearing cast for 4 weeks and a walking cast for 4 more weeks if all goes as planned.

Update time.  My surgery went very well.  The bone that was removed was actually not as big as he was really expecting and a good half of my tendon was in great shape.  He didn’t have to fuse it to the other one and just ended up building it up with some sort of medical mesh type stuff.  All is well for now.  I’m not in a full cast, but rather a half cast with lots of padding and ace wrap.  I will see the doctor on Monday for a follow up and see what’s next.  Hopefully not a full cast, but a splint that I will be able to remove for showering.  YEAH!  Thanks again for all your prayers.  You guys and gals are awesome!!!

Glad to hear it wasn’t as extensive and you thought it would be.  Praying for a quick recovery!

Thanks for praying.  Not much to report; I haven’t heard any news about my uncle, and my grandfather’s still goin’, and as far as I know my grandma’s still not a Christian.  It’s kinda scary to see relatives getting old and dying.  I just hope they all end up in heaven with Christ!
