Thank God for Facebook, I can now keep track of birthdays--somewhat.

Happy Birthday, dear Cristy. We love ya, gal! And to celebrate your day, we need to have a special, girlie cake.

Now, Thomas, Kevin and Charley, don’t get scared off by the doll cake. Close your eyes and we’ll cut you each a piece. 

What?  Me scared by a doll cake with my wife and 3 very girly daughters?  I love doll cake!  Happy Birthday Cristy!!!

WOW!  It is hard typing while looking through my fingers.  I think that I have been scared for life now.

Thank you so much!  I just got out of a “staff meeting” in which we ate pizza, sang (I listened) happy birthday to me, opened a funny card (with even funnier comments) and ate cake!  My favorite kind of staff meeting. 

I didn’t think Kevin would be scared off by a doll cake, thanks for taking the time to bake and decorate it Nancy.  Must have taken you hours!  And Thomas, I nearly spit out my water (through my nose) when I read your comment about typing while looking through your fingers!  You all make me smile.

Happy birthday my sweet friend and thanks for the calls on Saturday to help me keep the camera rolling!  Sorry it didn’t work on on Saturday, but Sunday’s show was awesome.  Shaun played his “Smitty Tribute” and couldn’t resist picking on some poor woman in the audience who was talking on her cell phone!  Of course he backed off right away when it was discovered that she was calling her father to tell him the website so he could tune in!  This social fauxpaux required the live rendition of “Damage Done.”

Thank you Amy and Beth for the birthday wishes.  Ken took us out to dinner last night at Red Lobster (yum) and then I got presents.  The boys got me some Crocs and Ken got me an iPOD nano.  Now I just have to figure out how to use it.  I was trying to read the directions last night but the print was so small!!  I told the guys that it was probably to deter 39 years olds from figuring out how to operate it. 

Beth, that was fun Saturday night, I wish it had worked out.  And I missed the whole concert Sunday!  I got to hear Oh God and Only, then see Shaun ask someone to restring his guitar.  Then I had to leave to pick up my kids from lifegroup.  By the time I got back home, it was over.  I thought it started later than that.  Hopefully he’ll do it again.  Glad you had a fun time!
