This is the scary part: Asking you to tell me what you really think of the new Shlog. Be honest. You won’t hurt my feelings. Is there something we messed up on? Something you’d like to see that you don’t? How can we make Shlog better for you?
It’s interesting enough so far. I haven’t really gone digging just yet just kinda sniffing around so far. All looks good but I’ll find something wrong somewhere just to make you feel better if you want.
I like it and not having to check both Shlog and shaungroves.com is convenient. Shaun has a lot of fans in PA and I’m hoping to get some new readers and message boardies signed up.
I’m thinking about simplifying the site on the next rendition. Any thoughts about what isn’t necessary to keep around. For instance, I’m thinking of ditching the “from the board” section on shlog. Not much gets said about shlog on the board so why link tot he board from shlog? Or should we link all recent threads from the board to shlog instead of just the shlog related ones?
Simplification would be good and I like the idea of linking message board topics to the blog, maybe it will bring the topics together more often. When the topics are linked, I feel like I end up writing the same thing in 2 different places which really isn’t necessary.
