After 26 days in the Pediatric ICU and one night on the regular Ped’s floor, we’re home!  Praise God!

Please continue to pray for the boys.  They are spitting up (more than normal) everytime they eat and are very fussy.

Praying for you, Smiley.

Thank God they’re home!

And happily, they are with a very experienced mommy. I’m praying they settle in quickly and will be ok with their feedings.

First of all, everyone please keep on coming with the prayer request.  Even though I do not always post a reply, I make sure that I pray for what you are requesting prayer for.

A friend of mine who has been going through a rough period in his life called me up and asked me if I was up for night of cards.  The thing is I know he wants to talk about what has been going on in his life. Please pray that I will be quick in listening and very slow to speak and when I speak I will speak with wisdom and the grace.

Thanks

Thomas

Thomas, I’m praying for you.  I think I know you well enough to know that you will be quick to listen and speak with wisdom and grace when you do speak.  You are a good listener.  When are you planning to get together?

I am grateful that your boys are home!

Thank you all for your prayers they are greatly appreciated. I am still struggling with a great deal of discomfort I am planning to have an MRI. I will move forward from there. Life is not without its difficulties, but that is what keeps us form getting too comfortable with life with life on this earth. Thank heaven that because Christ died, and has risen we too will live with Him.

Hey, if ya’ll could just pray for my recently arising asthma problems I would be happy.  I’m barely staying out of the hospital (I have been to the doctor), but it’s very difficult to breathe right now and feels like it’s getting worse.  Thanks.

How’s it going, Mary Ann?  I’m praying and I’m so sorry that you’ve been going through so much with your asthma.

Thanks Cristy and Nancy.

I’ll try to tell ya’ll if I notice any big changes.  For the moment, any stress at all sets me off.  I just need to rest and avoid as many asthma triggers as I can.  (Apparantly that’s harder than it seems!) Also take my medicine like a good girl.  smile

Update:
I’ve gotten a chest x-ray, and I think I’m supposed to see a specialist later this month.
Although I wasn’t getting better lately, I was adjusting a little and finding out just what I was capable of.  Then I went to an outdoors concert (which was so absolutely amazing that it was worth it), but there were so many bad stuff in the air there, and I was excited about meeting Leeland, it all hit me pretty hard.  I went to bed that night without taking my medicine and woke up feeling a lot worse.  So apparently, the medicines were having some effect, not making me better, but at least keeping it from getting worse.
Hm, I guess that’s something to be thankful for?
Heheh, I can’t breathe well, but I haven’t been to the hospital, and I’m happy that I got to meet Leeland!  He’s one of my all-time favorites!

Triple posting!!!!!!!!

I finally went to a pulmanologist and got a bunch of tests done.
Among the tests was an allergy test.
As it turns out, I’m allergic to peanuts, almonds, peas, celery, bananas, mustard, and Johnson grass (not edible).

Heh, who knew?! I’m surprised that I’m allergic to mustard and celery, since I didn’t eat them too often, but not the peas since that is (was) my favorite veggie.

But maybe if I’m able to avoid these things, I’ll start breathing better. smile

Wow, those are some serious allergies!  My little cousin is allergic to peanuts, he can’t even be around someone that has eaten them.  My mom had to quit making peanut butter fudge to take to family get togethers because he couldn’t be around it.  Glad you know what’s wrong now, and hopefully you’ll be feeling better in no time!

Thanks!  Yeah, it’s good to know what I’m allergic to while it’s in its early stage.  None of them are at the point where it is life-threatening.  My family is already adjusting the kinds of food that are brought in the house.
I think celery is going to be harder to avoid than I thought. cool hmm
