Besides the boards being not posted on very often, the problem was with spammers joining up. Even though they couldn’t post there were somewhere in the neighborhood of 7,000 of them, each with their urls listed in the memberlist. The boards were shut down mainly because of that, and it was the label’s call on that.
Might not be a bad idea for the Nockels to talk to Rocketown about acquiring the url before it expires soon if they want to keep their site.
