I’d like to think that dreams and visions are true, sometimes. I haven’t really had any myself, but my dad knew someone who was in jail (and later gave his life to Christ) and he had a dream of the woman who would be his wife, and the next day she came to the jail. Eventually they got married 
I believe God sends us messages or visions through our dreams. Not all the time (some are just plain bizarre!)
