How to tell if you’ve been traveling too much:

As you’re packing for your next trip, your pet seeks out your keys and poops on them.  LOL  Happy Monday morning to ME!

What’s your pet gotten into lately?

That is funny Nancy...maybe you need to take Cha Cha with you?

We recently caught our dog sleeping on the leather sofa.  grrr

Now, he is spoiled enough to have his own recliner (part of our old set to keep him off then new), but the leather sofa is more comfortable than the recliner, apparently.  He’s smart enough to jump down when we come into the room, dumb enough that he doesn’t realize his hair is all over the sofa!  blank stare

We’re wondering how to keep him off, short of putting him outside all night!  The worst part about it is that he’s been doing it often enough that he’s leaving marks with his toenails in the leather...I thing the cusion is ruined.  sick

Our dog sleeps on the sofa too.  We gave up trying to keep him off of it and decided we’d just reupholster at some point.  We even tried putting his dog bed on the sofa and he moved it out of the way!  He’s a great dog though so we put up with it.  He was so excited when we came home from our cruise this morning he could hardly stand it.  He’s “my” dog and he really shows it when I’ve been away.

Our cat is expressing her constant displeasure over our having children (and thus replacing her in the pecking order) by constantly pooping on the floor right beside her litter box.  I can put out a new litter box, never before used, with fresh litter and she will still eschew the box for the floor.  VERY ANNOYING!

And people call them “dumb” animals.  Ha!

Euphrony, do you put newspaper around the litter box?  I’m wondering whether your cat would try to one-up you by pooping off the paper too.

Are the furniture sitting dogs afraid of anything that you could put on the furniture Beth and Cristy?  Cha Cha is terrified of balloons so when he starts swinging from the chandalier (I wish I were kidding but he really does), I tie a small balloon to it and he stays away.  I just have to remember to remove the balloon when company comes.  LOL

We thought we could put the throw pillows in the middle of each cushion to keep him off...he just moves them to the floor.  We’ve started putting a blanket on there before we go to bed, but that’s more of an invitation, I think.  Atleast it protects the sofa.  *sigh*

I know he’s afraid of cats (dumb dog), but I’m not willing to go that far...my son is allergic!  LOL

The cat would go to the edge of the newspaper, and poop on the tile while standing on the newspaper and looking up at you as if saying “What’re you looking at, punk.  You can’t stop me!”

This morning, as I try to put in my contacts at 5:30 am, the same cat decides I need help and jumps up - right onto my contact case.  The case went flying and the contact I had yet to get went it’s own way.  After 10 minutes of searching, I found it, all the while picking up the cat to throw it out of the way so it would not step on and remove the contact from the scene.

How does a dog swing from a chandelier?  I would love to see a picture of that!

Nancy’s Cha Cha is a bird, and Beth & I have the furniture sitting dogs.  I can’t stop giggling though, trying to picture a dog swinging from a chandelier!  LOL

^^^ that would be an interesting sight to see.

Our blind cocker spaniel, Molly, if she gets mad at one of us for something, in the middle of the night, she’ll poop or pee or both down by who’s ever bedroom it was who made her mad. She’s so weird..  but she’s a really smart dog.  Smartelic anyway. Who knows what to say about my bichon. She’s just a spaz!

I own two water frogs, one morning my brother wakes up, and sees two of what he thought were rats, he gets my sister and she sees that they are frogs soo she gets my mom and my mom throughs them out-side, while doing that, she notices that they were slimey and says to my sister see if the frogs are in the tank, my sister looks and th lid is half off and nothing is in there, soo my mom runs out-side grabs the frogs and puts them back in the tank. And thats my wierdest pet moment ever.
