Lately it’s been “Bulletproof” by Taylor Sorensen.  I’ve also listened to ONIK A LOT lately.

Lately I have been listening to Shaun’s live album.  It seem that I have been playing Here I Am the most from that album.  Otherwise, I have been listening to Andrew Osenga.

"The More” by Downhere. I’ve played it over 30 times on my iPod in the last few months.

It’s based on 2 Peter 1:5-8 (1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge; 1:6 to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; to perseverance, godliness; 1:7 to godliness, brotherly affection; to brotherly affection, unselfish love.  1:8 For if these things are really yours and are continually increasing, they will keep you from becoming ineffective and unproductive in your pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ more intimately.) Great life verses.
Here are the words to the song.

The More by Downhere
album: Wide-Eyed and Mystified (2006)

I met You like a little child
Wide-eyed and mystified
That You could love even me
So I’m here to testify
That it’s been an amazing ride with You
And I have never walked alone
Wanna give You every moment, every minute
It’s takes a lifetime to know You, to know You

And the more You show me, the more You grow me
The more Your glory becomes all there is
And the more I know You, the more I need You
The more I love You, the more You become to me

Fast-forward to the golden years
A smaller pride and a bigger fear
But still, no way are we done yet
I pray that You would keep me mystified,
In every way that I will still abide in You
Till You come to take me home
Wanna give You every moment, every minute
And take a lifetime to know You, to know You

Wanna give You every moment, every minute
I’ll take a lifetime to know You
Hold me Lord, keep me
Draw me closer every moment of my life

ah, downhere rocks.

My song of the moment has changed. It is now…

“This Cross I Carry” by LZ7 (or Lindz as I like to call him.  He’s a rapper from the UK.)

"A Greater Song” by Matt Redman and Paul Baloche.  They both recorded a version of the song on each of their new CD’s.  It’s an awesome song and the bridge totally stays with you all day.  I like both versions and probably prefer Matt Redman’s version.  I’m sure it will be on the next Passion CD as well so I can’t wait to hear a live version of the song.  I’ll post the lyrics in the words section.

"Your Kindness” - not sure who by.  its a worship song

“… and its Your kindness Lord
that leads us to repentance
Your favor Lord is our desire
and its Your beauty Lord
that makes us stand in silence
Your love Your love
is better than life”

i think is how the chorus goes.

"Your Name”, written by Paul Baloche and recorded by Paul Baloche and Phillips, Craig & Dean.  We’ve been singing it in my church for a couple of months and I love the melody and words.  I’ll post the lyrics in the words section.
