This is probably going to come as a shock to everybody here, but I like to write.
My style has always been short-form, like essays (think David Sedaris but straight, female and cleaner language). But eventually I’d like to write fiction and longer form nonfiction (think Truman Capote but straight, female and hey...I see a pattern here
)
I also am casually studying screenwriting--some of the stories in my head I see in print; others work better visually. And I want to be a better radio writer and storyteller.
I want to lace words together that people will want to hold onto and that they can grow and heal from reading. I don’t want to mastermind the next Christian subculture fad; I want to write things that will endure, and that will minister to people who aren’t in the center of the Protestant American church culture.
