im wasting time before my next class at 2.

cristy - i watched the end of the colts game.  im glad they won.  my dad wants them to win the superbowl since my grandpa wants the bears.  haha, but more imporantly, 2 of the coachs of the colts are christians - which is really cool! smile

Yes Lois, and some of the players, too.

Hunter Smith, the punter, used to do a Bible study (and possibly he still does) in my town for a group of high schoolers.  Pretty cool!  I loved the way Tony Dungy (head coach) and Jim Irsay (owner) gave all the credit for winning the game to God.

Right now, I just got out of the shower.  I was really tired and didn’t want to get up this morning… and when I did I checked email and all that, so I knew I wouldn’t have time to shower before my thesis meeting.

The meeting went ok… I only emailed my professor about 6 pages (the first week was 13, last week was 14) thanks to writer’s block/getting tired of it.  He actually sort of threatened to bust my kneecaps with a baseball bat (he even brought out the bat, lol).  He told me that one time, a grad student said he wouldn’t turn anything in for his thesis that week because of writer’s block, and my professor threatened to bust his kneecaps… the next day, the grad student turned in a LOT of pages, and they were really good pages too!  He’s such a funny guy… but I’m definitely making sure I turn in more pages next week!

But other than this week, it’s fine.  I’ve got a total of 32 pages, not including some scenes I wrote last semester that have yet to be put in my screenplay.  That’s like a third of the entire thing, because generally feature-length screenplays are 90-120 pages (one page equals a minute in the movie, generally).

Anywho… I think I’ll just chill out here for a little while, then I have to go to work at 3:30.  I sort of want to go, and I sort of don’t.  I just hope the kids are good today…

Right now, I am catching up on this board.  i just finished lunch and I’m procrastinating on a project.

I just wanted to add that I also want the Colts to win.  I was tres disappointed that the Saints lost, and of course saddened when the Seahawks (my team) lost.  (I had hoped they’d have a chance to win what was robbed from them last year)

Now that I know a bunch of the Colts are Christians, I feel a greater need to cheer them on.  I was so relieved they beat the Patriots!  Yea!  Go Colts!!

WOW! What a week so far. I dropped my poetry & prophecy class because if I had taken it with everything else I would have died. Umm this semester is going to be one heck’uva Spring. Wish me luck. I’ve still got to buy half my books.

Apparently Hunter Smith has a band, too!  They’re performing at our church on March 18.

IT’S FRIDAY!!!! Oh lovely lovely day!! Ohh I almost forgot to tell ya’ll that I’m getting pretty darn close to having that summer job that I wanted in Virgina. So excited to work with horses and kids ALL summer save for the two weeks out to Oklahoma. Which counts for another round of yelling, screaming, and utter rejoicing. I miss Oklahoma, the open space, the wind, the sunsets, the family...and the smells can’t forget the smells. What? I’m a smelly...smells kinda person give me a break okay? Yeah so I’m bored right now and I need to head down to the trailer and do my 15 min workout now. See ya’ll later.

Mood Today: downer I miss my carbs!!! WAAAAA

It’s a gorgeous Sunday afternoon.  Yesterday was fairly warm.  But today it got cold again… but the sun’s out.  Although it was flurrying a little earlier.

I’ve spent some time working on my thesis today.  So far I have just over 8 pages to turn in Tuesday for my meeting.  I want to write some more but I decided to take a break and get on here smile

Tonight I plan to watch the new series The Dresden Files as well as Battlestar Galactica on Sci Fi.  I watched the first episode of Dresden yesterday (it was free on iTunes) and it was really interesting - interesting enough to watch the second episode.  And I’ve been watching BSG since the first season, so I’m a committed fan smile

I guess I should get back to my screenplay now…

I’m taking the opportunity to relax today before a VERY busy week at the office.  This is peak season for us Tax Pros.  We had a potluck after church today to honor our lead pastor and his family.  They are moving to Greely, Co to plant a church there.  Pray for their safe travel please.

I’m sitting here waiting for my hubby to call me back to tell me that the tow truck pulled him out of the ditch.  He left at 5:30 this morning to go play ball with a bunch of guys at church...didn’t make it.  The roads were a little more slippery than he thought and he went off the side.  He’s okay and the cars okay...just stuck.  downer
