I had my wisdom teeth taken out several years ago and they gave me what is called a “twilight” where I’m actually awake, I just didn’t really know what was going on during the procedure.  I was afraid I would say something really stupid, but thankfully they were working in my mouth, so I probably didn’t have much of a chance of talking.  (I hope.)

Funny thing, my girlfriend had to have a “twilight” while she had a colonoscopy a few weeks ago.  Her sister told her that the very good-looking doctor came in to check on her after the procedure, while she was still under the effects of said “twilight.” Apparently, she told the very good-looking doctor that she would be much better when she could get rid of all the gas she was experiencing.  Her sister was in the room and nearly fell out of her chair!  LOL

I had mine taken out over Christmas break from college one year.  I was knocked out and woke up crying.  My mom was panicky and when she asked me why I was crying, I said I didn’t know.  I wasn’t in pain or anything.  I couldn’t figure out why I was crying either.  All I remember right after waking up was “stupid doctor.  He forgot something and now I’m going to have to get that big shot all over again!” I had no idea an hour had gone by!

I looked like “Charlie Chipmunk” for about a week which was no fun when I went back to school.

I just got back from dinner, am getting ready to watch “1 vs. 100” with my roommate in a while, thinking that I should be reading Psychology now (I love the class so it’s really not that bad), listening to oldies music, and enjoying the carpet I put in my dorm room this week.

I am listening to Andrew Osenga Photographs album while doing laundry and getting ready to go to church tonight.  Where I attend church we had to add another service because we were running out of seats.  So they asked if there were anyone willing to attend a Saturday service for up to six months if they started one.  I agreed to do that, but I am not sure if I like Saturday night services.  It just does not feel the same.

.

I’m sitting here amazed at how much sleep I’ve had.  I popped a single Benadryl yesterday afternoon and slept from 5pm to 5am, waking up only to put Cha Cha in his cage for the night and to answer a call from my mom around 7:30 pm (don’t have a clue what we talked about LOL).  I didn’t even have dinner.  And when do I ever miss a meal?!

Right now I am checking the Closings and Delays on various local news websites to see if church is canceled.  We’re supposed to get a “wintry mix” today, of snow, sleet, and later freezing rain.  Although I’m not seeing anything falling yet… but Weather.com says it’s only 31 degrees (and feels like 23!) Eep that’s cold.

I’m tempted to just go back asleep (I’m REALLY tired) but I’d feel guilty if church wasn’t canceled, since I missed church last week (I couldn’t get to bed last week because some people on my hall were being loud up till 3 in the morning!).  I shouldn’t have stayed up to watch some of SNL, lol.

Just got back from lunch. I’m on the South Beach diet now. I went to First Alliance Church today. It was cool. It was like a combination of Southern Baptist and Non-Denominational.

Ok Miss Busy, don’t grow up to be like me with the no sleep thing!  LOL

For the first time in months, the alarm clock got me awake this morning instead of my waking up at 4 or 4:30 moaning “Whyyyyyyyyy am I awake???).

We had our first snow yesterday and everybody’s being all dramatic about the roads.  I’m just going to slip some ice skates on the Jeep and skate it on down to the subway station.  LOL

I am collecting my thoughts before heading off to work.

Nancy, hope you feel better after that very long restful sleep.

Cristy, how could you but a football jersey on a snowman? I do not wear my favorite teams jersey because of what it will cost to replace it. :gulp:

That’s an old jersey I had made for Justin, it has HIS last name on the back like he’s part of the team.  It’s only snow...it’ll wash, I was just hoping nobody would steal it!  Our dog won’t let anyone in the yard, though, so I think it’s safe.  (He has an invisible fence, so he won’t leave the yard.)

I just woke up a little while ago.  I kind of went to bed late, goofing off on the computer, lol.  But it’s not like I have anything to go today… usually I have work 3:30-6 but school is canceled due to the winter weather we had yesterday.

So, this gives me more time to work on my thesis, since I have my meeting tomorrow morning… I just hope I can come up with something!  I haven’t really worked on it all week because I needed a break.  I started writing something else - another screenplay for fun, since I got this idea and wanted to play around with it - and I have, like, 27 pages already.

If only I could get motivated to write that much for my thesis! (I have about 30 pages already, but it took me longer than a few days to write!)
