Oh well if you haven’t listened in a month, then you only missed one show--this one has been stuck in perpetual rotation for the last three weeks. 

Same thing happened a couple years ago--the notorious “Prayer” show.  I could not get them to pull that show out of rotation for a whole month.

Ok, if all things work...we’re going to try this show again today:

On True Story Radio today, we’re going to be examining the symbolism of light in music and in the Bible. 

Listen for songs from The Benjamin Gate, Caleb Rowden, Shaun, Ginny Owens, This Train, Nicole Nordeman, Eden’s Bridge, classics from Third Day, dc Talk and Keith Green and more.  Now there’s a mix for ya--pop, rock, alt, singer-songwriters, Celtic, rockabilly and music from the 70s’ Jesus Music era.  

I’m also starting to do some tweaks to the show so please let me know if you can tell any difference in the way I’m doing things and what you think about it.

As bad a singer as I am, I can do a halfway decent job of harmonizing with Twilight. My coworkers may not agree, however…

Well, IMHO, I sound atleast halfway decent when I sing Twilight...in the shower anyway.  Everything sounds halfway decent in the shower, though, right? 

I just heard my friend Kristen, er I mean sputnik!  Where has she been anyway? 

I can’t even sound good in the shower. 

That was indeed our Sputnik and I miss her terribly around here.  Kristen?  Where are you???

I thought I saw her on here last night...but, she has that new Chik-fil-a right by her house, so we know where’s she spending all her spare time now.

We’re continuing our series today looking at the imagery of the elements and the environment in music and in the Bible.  Last week it was “light.” This week:  water. 

Water’s used in biblical and musical imagery to symbolize troubles, being overwhelmed, cleansing and forgiveness and a lot of other things.  Listen for it in music from Ginny Owens, Jars of Clay, Hyper Static Union, Caedmon’s Call, Alison Krauss, Chris Rice, Michael W. Smith and a lot more.
