Welcome to the shaungroves.com Board. Anyone can join. But once inside there are a few guidelines we all need to follow to keep this one big happy on-line community. Here they are:
1. SEX: Predatory behavior of any kind is forbidden. The use of the Board for inappropriate sexual discussion or interaction of any kind is not tolerated. No offense is taken more seriously by our Moderators and Administrators. Anyone who engages in this type of behavior is a threat to everyone and will face an IMMEDIATE and PERMANENT ban from this entire site - not just the Board - and may also face criminal charges.
2. LINKS: It’s cool to post links to anything you want as long as that material or web site does not break any of the Board Guidelines (the stuff you’re reading right now) and as long as no copyright laws are broken in the process. Breaking this rule could get you banned permanently from this entire site.
3. DISCUSSION ETIQUETTE: A.Be nice. Not sure if what you want to say is nice? Then just don’t say it. Some general not-nice things to do here: Name calling, insulting someone’s gender or race or intelligence or religion, cursing. Get rude or insulting and you’ll be banned from the site quickly. B.Keep your posts on topic. If you want to say something that isn’t being discussed in a thread, just create a new thread. We’d love to read what you have to say. Breaking this law won’t get you banned but will get a thread locked, or get your post deleted or moved.
4. SPAM: This Board is a commercial free zone. If you would like to promote a product, event or service run it by a moderator or administrator first. Spamming of any kind will get you banned from this site.
5. SIGNATURES: Images in signature files must not exceed 300 pixels in width, or 150 pixels in height. Images in signatures that are found to exceed this size may be edited or deleted by moderators without prior notification. Only one image at a time is allowed in your signature. Signatures cannot contain inappropriate images or wording. If you don’t know if your signature is appropriate run it by a moderator first.
6. PRIVACY: Do not in any way violate the privacy of another Boardie. For your own safety please do not give out any personal information such as, but not limited to, your phone number, address, social security number or first and last legal name. Doing this could get you banned from the entire site.
7. MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS: You can’t have more than one account or log-in. We don’t have the space for folks to have multiple personalities here and it’s just goofy and/or dishonest. Do this, and you guessed it, you could get banned from the entire site.
8. MODERATORS: Moderators here are volunteers chosen by Shaun. They are here mainly to keep threads maintained, on topic and to enforce these guidelines. They are not professional counselors. They may be contacted if you have a personal or spiritual issue or question and will gladly listen and help if they can, but please understand Shaun believes that face-to-face counseling off-line with a trained professional in your area is almost always the most productive counseling to obtain. Mods will help you find such a counselor if needed. Just ask.
